What is S.T.O.P.?
S.T.O.P. is a carefully developed program to train servers and sellers how to serve alcohol responsibly. S.T.O.P. training program was developed by Frank J. Faubert, who had previously certified several thousand servers of alcohol under another program. He became dissatisfied with several aspects of that program and as a result he developed his own “real world” program that many feel is superior in all respects to its competitors. S.T.O.P. trains servers and sellers to identify the signs associated with alcohol abuse and intoxication and to intervene with patrons in an effective and professional manner.
